COMMUNITY CHURCH
A FAMILY OF FAMILIES - ONE CHURCH - ONE CITY
Community Church
Each Sunday, Home Churches from across the city come together in Bluebell to worship, learn, pray, and reconnect around what God is doing among us at our Community Church gathering.
For many people, Community Church is the first place they experience Liberty. It’s an open, welcoming space where anyone can come, take part, and begin exploring faith, whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you’re just starting to ask questions.
A Place to Gather, Grow, and Be Sent
Community Church brings us together for worship, teaching, and shared direction as one church. It’s a place where we celebrate what God is doing across our Home Churches, hear stories of faith and mission, and are strengthened to live out our faith in everyday life. As we gather, we’re reminded that we belong to one body, united by Jesus and sent into many places across the city.
For Everyone
Community Church is a place where people of all ages and stages are welcome. Adults, youth, and children gather together, learning and growing side by side. Whether you arrive alone or with others, you’ll be met with a warm welcome and the freedom to explore faith without pressure.
What Community Church Makes Possible
While much of our shared life happens in Home Churches, Community Church creates space for things that are best experienced when we gather as one wider church family:
Worship, Singing, and Teaching
There is something powerful about gathering in a larger crowd to sing, pray, and worship together. Community Church allows us to lift our voices as one, to engage deeply with Scripture, and to reflect together on the life and teaching of Jesus.
A Full Expression of the Church
Each Home Church reflects part of the life and gifts of the church. When we gather together, a wider range of gifts, voices, and leadership are present, allowing the church to be expressed more fully and helping us grow together.
Kids and Youth
Gathering as a wider church enables us to invest well in children and young people, drawing on shared care, teaching, and leadership so that they are formed and supported as part of the life of the church.
Shared Mission Across the City
While Home Churches live out mission locally, Community Church allows us to act together across the city. Coming together enables the church to serve at a wider scale, respond to opportunities that benefit from collective effort, and take part in initiatives that express God’s love to Dublin as a whole.
Connection Across the Church
Gathering regularly helps us stay connected as one church family, reminding us that while we live out our faith locally, we belong to something bigger and are part of a shared story unfolding across the city.
Each Community Church gathering is shaped by the wider church, with different Home Churches contributing in various ways over time. What God is doing in smaller communities is strengthened and enriched as we come together.
One Church, Many Expressions
While Community Church gathers us in one place, much of our shared life happens in Home Churches across the city, smaller communities where faith is lived out locally through shared life, discipleship, and mission.
Community Church and Home Church are not competing models; they are complementary. One gathers us publicly, the other sends us locally. Together, they help us live as a church that is both united and present across Dublin.
As Liberty grows, we hope to see Community Churches established in other parts of the city, local expressions of worship, connection, and mission that carry the same heart and vision.
